Day of Mindfulness

“Do you think this is just another day in your life? It’s not just another day. It’s the one day that is given to you: today. It’s given to you. It’s a gift. It’s the only gift that you have right now.” (Louie Schwartzberg, For humans it is so easy for us to stop noticing the world around us and to be trapped “in our heads”, losing touch with our bodies and the nature. Be mindful is to reconnect with our bodies and sensations and to live fully in the present moment.

If we learn to enjoy an ordinary day as if it were the first day in our life and the very last day, then every ordinary day will become a precious unique day for us. And then, it will really be a good day.
