Duke Kunshan University recommends that students purchase travel insurance before departure; traveling while insured prevents mishaps from ruining your travel experience, including any resulting financial penalties or medical emergencies.
International Students at Duke Kunshan University must purchase a medical insurance plan before arrival on campus; these precautions will ensure medical and financial flexibility and safety while studying abroad. International Students who can provide proof of existing coverage for existing inpatient treatment and outpatient treatment can apply for a waiver.
