The Student Health Services, also called Campus Health Clinic, is an important unit housed within the Duke Kunshan University Student Affair team. Our clinical staffs provide quality and efficient services that meet the needs of our students. Specifically, we are committed to developing innovative health programs to serve the health and well-being needs of DKU community.

Hours of Operations

9:00AM-5:00PM     MONDAY- FRIDAY

Closed daily from 12:00PM – 1:00PM for staff lunch

Closed on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays

Student Health Fee: Currently all services provided by clinic is free to DKU students.

Protect Patients’ Privacy: All health records in clinic will be kept strictly confidential. 

Meet Our Staff

Director for Health Services Dr. Mona Gao

Dr. Mona Gao is the Director for Health Services. She is responsible for the management and operation of Campus Clinic, also to provide primary care to Duke Kunshan community. She received her M.D. from Peking University, Beijing. Previously, she worked as physician in Singapore where she became a skilled and experienced general practitioner. She aims to provide and maintain an international standard primary care to DKU community.

Zoe Wang (Registered Nurse)

Zoe Wang Zhaozhao is a nurse with rich experiences. Her main job responsibilities are to schedule clinic appointments including liaising with local hospitals, perform clinic administrative work, arrange medical check-up and health promotion activities for students, and provide primary and follow-up medical care, basic emergency life support to DKU students. She graduated from Suzhou University with bachelor degree of nursing. She has over 10 years abundant and various working experience in nursing. BLS and ACLS holder. Previously, she worked in IMC Octave At one Clinic, Parkway Health SIP clinic, Shanghai United Family Hospital and Almana General Hospital in KSA.

Julia Zuo (Registered Nurse/Health Educator)

Julia Zuo joined Duke Kunshan University on July 10, 2017 as Campus Clinic Nurse, Her main job responsibilities include cooperating with doctors, scheduling all clinic appointments, and providing basic primary and follow-up care to Duke Kunshan University students, faculty and staff members, providing basic emergency life support, and serving as liaison with local hospitals. She received her bachelor degree form Luohe Medical College, major in Nurse (English). Completed the undergraduate course of Suzhou University to continue education and get the certificate. Previously, she worked in Saudi British hospital in Saudi Arabic for two years. After come back, she worked in Suzhou SingHealth Medical Clinic and Tokushinkai Dental Clinic.

Chengrong Zou (Live-in Nurse)

Chengrong Zou joined Duke Kunshan University on December 12, 2022 as Nurse (Live-in), Her main job responsibilities are performing clinic daily nursing work as well as night shifts to respond to urgent medical needs on campus, and assisting student health programs.She graduated from Guangzhou Institute of Health Professions and Technology in July 2019, majoring in English Nursing.Previously, she worked in Distinct Healthcare as a resident nurse from June 2021 to September 2022. Prior to this, she worked as a neurology specialist nurse in the Donghua Hospital affiliated to Sun Yat-sen University (Dongguan) from July 2019 to June 2021.

Sunny Guan (Live-in Nurse)

Shuxia (Sunny) Guan joined Duke Kunshan University on February 6, 2023 as Nurse (Live-in),Her main job responsibilities are to perform daily nursing work during office hour, including patient triage, nurse visit, assist physician, treatments administer, disinfection, medical equipment and pharmacy maintenance, and provide on-call services during off hours to respond to urgent medical needs on campus, also assist student health programs. She received her junior college diploma in Nursing from Zhengzhou University in March 2008. Previously she worked at Specialized Medical Center Hospital (Saudi Arabia) from May 2008 to May 2010 as Registered Nurse and International SOS in Beijing from August 2010 to December 2022 as Senior Remote Site Nurse.

Chenyi Zhu (Clinical Services Coordinator)

Chenyi Zhu joined Duke Kunshan University on March 1, 2023 as Clinical Services Coordinator, in Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and Student Health Services (Campus Health Clinic). Her main job responsibilities are providing receptionist services and communications via different channels and assisting with a variety of operational and administrative tasks including managing students’ health insurance, maintaining the systems and procedures of scheduling visit and meeting, promoting health education, organizing outreach programs and coordinating with other departments on campus and within the community. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Dickinson College in May 2020, and Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University in May 2022.
