Getting to Duke Kunshan

The closest airports to our campus are in Shanghai and Wuxi, while daily high-speed rail services stop at Kunshan South Railway Station. The city also has a comprehensive public transportation network including buses, taxis and shared bicycles.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to reach us.

BY AIR

Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) is 92 kilometers east of Kunshan.

  • Option 1: Travel on Shanghai Metro Line 2 to Hongqiao Railway Station. From here, take a 20-minute high-speed train to Kunshan South Railway Station. A taxi or public bus (Nos. 22 or 31) will take you to Duke Kunshan.
    Estimated travel time: 1 to 2 hours
    Estimated cost: RMB 50-80

     
  • Option 2: Take a taxi from the airport to Duke Kunshan.
    Estimated travel time: 1.5 to 2.5 hours
    Estimated cost: RMB 600-800

     
  • Option 3: Take the airport shuttle to Kunshan City Terminal (services run 8:30 a.m. to 8:45 p.m.). From there, take a taxi to Duke Kunshan.
    Estimated travel time: 2.5 to 3 hours
    Estimated cost: RMB 150

Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA) is 42 kilometers east of Kunshan.

  • Option 1: Follow the signs to Hongqiao Railway Station and take a 20-minute high-speed train to Kunshan South Railway Station. From here, take a taxi or public bus (Nos. 22 or 31) to Duke Kunshan.
    Estimated travel time: 1 to 1.5 hours
    Estimated cost: RMB 30-60

     
  • Option 2: Take a taxi from the airport to Duke Kunshan.
    Estimated travel time: 1.5 hours (subject to traffic)
    Estimated cost: RMB 200-300

     
  • Option 3: Take the airport shuttle from Terminal 2 to Kunshan City Terminal (services run 9:15 a.m. to 9:10 p.m.). From there, take a taxi to Duke Kunshan.

Sunan Shuofang International Airport (WUX) is 41 kilometers west of Kunshan.

  • Option 1: Take a taxi to Wuxi New District Railway Station and take a 30-minute high-speed train to Kunshan South Railway Station. From there, take a taxi or a public bus (Nos. 22 or 31) to Duke Kunshan.
    Estimated travel time: 1 to 1.5 hours
    Estimated cost: RMB 100-150

     
  • Option 2: Take a taxi from the airport to Duke Kunshan.
    Estimated travel time: 1 hour

BY TRAIN

High-speed services stop at Kunshan South Railway Station, about 12 kilometers southeast of Duke Kunshan.
