This major research program is centered on the following scientific questions:

Cultivation Program:

• Core decomposition assembly and reusable design methods芯粒分解组合与可复用设计方法
• Multi-core Parallel Processing and Interconnect Architecture多芯粒并行处理与互连架构
• Integrated Chip Multi-Field Simulation and EDA集成芯片多场仿真与EDA
• Integrated Chip Circuit Design Technology集成芯片电路设计技术
• Integrated Chip 2.5D/3D Process Technology集成芯片5D/3D工艺技术

Major Program:

• Cache Coherence and Storage Systems缓存一致性与存储系统
• Core decomposition and combination optimization methods芯粒分解和组合优化方法
• Layout and routing methods for multi-mask integrated chips多光罩集成芯片的布局布线方法
• Testability Design Methods for Integrated Chips集成芯片的可测试性设计方法
• Energy Efficient Single-Ended Parallel Interface Circuits for Die Interconnects高能效的芯粒互连单端并行接口电路
• Multi-field Simulation Algorithms and Solvers for Core Scaling面向芯粒尺度的多场仿真算法与求解器
• Large Size Silicon Substrate Manufacturing Technology and Warp Modeling and Stress Optimization大尺寸硅基板制造技术及翘曲模型和应力优化

Integrated Key Program：

1. 3D Integrated Chip for Heterogeneous Computing异构计算三维集成芯片

Award :  15 cultivation programs,  800,000 RMB per each for 3 years； 8 major programs, 3 million RMB per each for 4 years； 1 Integrated Program，15 million RMB for 4 years

Eligibility :

1. Experience in undertaking basic research projects;　
2. Senior professional and technical positions (titles);

1. Division of Department of Earth Sciences of NSFC Notice for Application for Special Projects (Science and Technology Activity Projects) 地学部科技活动项目申请的通告 link to announcement

It includes the following two types:

(1)  Strategic studies for the development of disciplines in the earth sciences and related fields (hereinafter referred to as “Strategy Studies”);

(2)  Influential international (regional) academic conferences and short-term human resources training activities for basic research in China (hereinafter referred to as “Academic Exchange Projects”).

Eligibility:

1. Applicant shall have senior titles.
2. Strategy Studies projects shall comply with the strategic planning in the Department of Earth Sciences
3. Academic exchange projects shall provide the proof of the authorization of the international academic organization to hold the conference and the official approval from local government.
