Gary Guang Li, Ph.D.

Gary Li joined Duke Kunshan University in September 2024 as Senior Director of Information Technology. His main responsibilities include aligning the IT organization to support DKU’s needs strategically and serving the university stakeholders and its partners efficiently and effectively. Before joining DKU, Gary worked at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, as Assistant Director of Technical Services, Director of Enterprise Technologies, and Director of Infrastructure Platform and Services.

Gary received his B.E. and M.E. degrees in Environmental Engineering from Tsinghua University in 1986 and 1989, respectively. He received his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 1997.
