Elizabeth Yang

Ms. Elizabeth Yang was born in September 1981 in Shunde, Guangdong Province. In 2005, Ms. Yang graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Logistics.

From March 2005 to December 2006, Ms. Yang worked as a procurement manager in Country Garden Group. In December 2006, she was appointed executive director of Country Garden Holdings. From March 2012 to December 2018, she served as vice chairman of Country Garden Holdings. From December 2018 to February 2023, she served as the co-chairman. In this role, Ms. Yang assists the board chairman in managing the Group. She also oversees the Group’s strategic investment and is responsible for exploring new businesses, new retail for example, that complement the Company’s existing operations. She was appointed board chairman of Bright Scholar Education Holdings in February 2017 and executive director in April of the same year. In March 2018, she was named board chairman and non-executive director of Country Garden Services Holdings.
