Funding Areas:

  1. Innovative vaccine-controlled release technology

  1. Innovations in RNA vaccines in global health

Enhancement of vaccine protection efficacy and duration of protection through the optimization of RNA-based vaccine technology platforms to facilitate the development of preventive vaccines against priority infectious diseases in global health, including, but not limited to, malaria vaccines, tuberculosis vaccines, etc.

NSFC provide key projects in the field of Railway Transportation and Clean Energy Equipment（轨道交通与清洁能源装备领域）. There are 26 research topics in this area. Please check the link to announcement for more information.

Award:  1.5 million RMB to each grant, 6 grants, 3 years.

Eligibility: 1）Proposal PI must have relevant cooperation with foreign collaborators before.  2）Applicant shall have senior titles such as professorship or research scientist.  3) PI is undertaking or having undertaken 3-year or more NSFC projects

Due date:  Please submit the proposal in NSFC system before June 21st, 2024.

This major research program is centered on the following scientific questions:

Cultivation Program:

1)        New mechanisms for the enrichment and extraction of key metal elements关键金属元素的富集提取新机制

2)        A new approach to the separation of similar elements of key metals关键金属相似元素的分离新方法

3)        New technologies for the ultrapure preparation of key metals关键金属的超纯制备新技术

Major Program:

1)        New methods of extracting metallurgy from low-quality key metal resources低品质关键金属资源提取冶金新方法

2)        New method for deep separation of key metal elements关键金属元素深度分离新方法

3)        New method for ultrapure preparation of key metals (indium, gallium, germanium)关键金属（铟、镓、锗）超纯制备新方法

Award :  25 cultivation programs,  800,000 RMB per each for 3 years； 8 major programs, 3 million RMB per each for 4 years.

Eligibility :

1)        Experience in undertaking basic research projects;　

2)        Senior professional and technical positions (titles);

  1. NSFC Collecting Suggestions for Major Research Program on Basic Theories and Key Technologies for Future Industrial Internet(未来工业互联网基础理论与关键技术重大研究计划指南建议) link to the announcement

This major research program focuses on the core issue of the evolution of spatio-temporal relations and regulation laws of the interconnection of production factors in the future industrial Internet, and centers on the following three scientific questions:

  1. Structured Organizational Mechanisms for Total Factor Interconnection全要素互联的结构化组织机理
  2. Theory and Methods of Flexible Construction of Manufacturing Processes生产制造流程的柔性构造理论与方法
  3. The principle of networked regulation of industrial and value chains产业链与价值链的网络化调控原理

The main elements of the Guide Proposal include:

  • The contribution to solving the core scientific problems and achieving the overall objectives of this major research program.
  • The main content of the research to be carried out to address the core scientific questions.
  • Expected breakthroughs and their feasibility.
  • A description of the subcategories of projects proposed for funding.

  1. NSFC Guidelines for cooperation and exchange programs with the Czech Academy of Sciences捷克科学院合作交流 link to the announcement

Research Fields：Mathematics and Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Earth Sciences

NSFC supports international travel (economy class airfare) of Chinese researchers to the Czech, and accommodation, meals and inter-city transportation. Czech supports the international travel expenses of Czech researchers to China and the accommodation, food and inter-city transportation expenses.

Award:  NSFC provides 100,000 RMB per grant, and Czech provides CZK 600,000/grant.

Eligibility: 1)   Proposal PI must be leading PI or the main participant in the on-going NSFC projects that lasts at least 3 years;　2) Both sides shall submit proposal to NSFC and Czech separately.
