Graduate Students

Graduate students face many unique challenges. They generally operate in an environment with less guidance and at the same time requiring more self-motivation in their study and research programs. Some graduate students may also have multiple familial and financial responsibilities entering graduate school. Moreover, graduate students are probably more vulnerable to the pressures related with research, publishing, teaching and finding a job. It is difficult for some of them to have a healthy work-life balance when facing so many stressors and challenges. It is very common for them to experience depression, sleep problems and anxiety.

CAPS is committed to provide support and care to both of our DKU undergraduate and graduates.
